Dr. Serrano treats bronchitis, asthma flare-ups, COPD exacerbations, persistent cough, shortness of breath, and other breathing difficulties at home. However, severe breathing emergencies require immediate 911 attention.

Call 911 immediately if you have severe difficulty breathing, chest pain, blue lips or face, confusion, or can't speak in full sentences. These may indicate a life-threatening condition requiring emergency care.

Dr. Serrano performs a thorough physical exam including listening to your lungs, checking oxygen levels, assessing breathing patterns, and reviewing your symptoms and medical history. He may recommend additional tests if needed.
